Sharon has been a registered nurse for about 15 years. She started her Pilates journey about 3 years ago and fell in love with the reformer, the understanding of muscle movement, form and an overall holistic approach to wellness. She became a Pilates enthusiast when a hip injury set her back and the physician was talking shots with potential surgery. Pilates has helped her with proper alignment, understanding the importance of breath and better management than any pharmacological interventions. Understanding how much Pilates has helped in her own journey led her to want to continue her passion for helping others through whole body movement with Club Pilates.

Lisa’s passion for Pilates began in 2008 when she began taking lessons to change up her workout routine. From there, she quickly knew she wanted to get certified and went on to complete her certification with over 800 hours of Classical study at the Pilates Institute of Southern California in 2009. Growing up in the Chicago area, Lisa was a committed athlete in both Tennis and Soccer and began teaching tennis once she reached high school. She made All-State her junior and senior years and was a state finalist her senior year. Following, she became nationally ranked as a high level Division III player at Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California, graduating in 2005 with a B.A. in Psychology. She also holds her M.A. in Education from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California (2012). Since Pilates has became a focus in her life, Lisa aspires to always maintain her practice in both doing and teaching, and values the opportunity to introduce it those who haven’t yet had the chance to see the many benefits that it can bring to our lives. Aside from Pilates, time with family and friends, hanging out at the beach, traveling, and seeing live music are where she’s most content. Lisa lives in Charleston with her boyfriend Jason and their Boston Terrier, Mo.
Kari found her passion for Pilates through her dance background. She loved what Pilates did for her body and mind, and it quickly became part of her everyday routine. She decided to make it her career in 2010, through Balanced Body Pilates. Kari trained in Cleveland, OH with Troy McCarty and in Asheville, NC with Jennifer Gianni. Kari likes to focus on personalizing each individuals experience with Pilates, directing clients to listen to their body as the key for their practice. Kari holds a degree in Business Management and recently just took her Yoga Teacher Training in India. In her spare time, she enjoys being in nature, reading and crafting.
For as long as I can remember, I have been following my passion for health and fitness. Previous to teaching Pilates I taught Health and PE in public school, coached soccer, and helped people achieve their fitness goals through Personal Training. Even though I was fit, something was missing; a strong foundation. While searching for the missing link, I discovered and fell deeply in love with the mind/body connection that Pilates teaches. For the first time in my life I felt strong, grounded, and flexible. It radically transformed all aspects of my life and I had to share that feeling with others. I am passionate about helping you reach what I believe to be the ultimate goal of Pilates - finding that whole body connection that will help you carry yourself with ease through your Pilates practice and LIFE!
Heather has always had a passion for health and fitness. Born and raised on Long Island, NY, Heather was a former competitive gymnast and dancer. Her passion for Dance and movement led her to gain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theatre and Dance from Keene State College in NH. She also holds an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Science Technology and is a proud LVT! It was through her dance background that Heather was first introduced to the Pilates Method. Throughout college, she took many area Mat Pilates classes, and even began to incorporate what she learned while teaching Gymnastics as a part time job. She first discovered Reformer based Pilates in 2012 and hasn’t looked back! The movement and modality felt so natural and she fell in love with the low-impact, whole-body practice. Because of the low-impact nature of Pilates and the many modifications available, she continued to take classes throughout two pregnancies (for the entire nine months!) and believes that it not only helped keep her physically strong, but mentally as well. Heather has dreamed about becoming a Pilates instructor for many years and has now made it a reality through Club Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training! She truly believes that Pilates is for every body, and hopes that she can help her students improve their flexibility, build strength, and develop endurance in the entire body. When not practicing Pilates, she is a proud wife to Michael and mama to Juliana, 5 and Theodore, 3.
Eyren’s passion for fitness was reignited when she began her workouts at Club Pilates. Prior to joining Club Pilates, she found that she was beating herself up in an intense, competitive environment and not meeting her goals. She attributes Pilates to helping her to regain the emotional centering she had always enjoyed with an active lifestyle while increasing her strength and coordination in new ways, developing some serious core strength, increasing flexibility, healing an injury and meeting her health goals. Her fitness training career began the summer before starting college. She has trained, instructed and managed in a variety of athletic, fitness, rehabilitative, educational and wellness environments. She holds a BS in Kinesiology and Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Nutrition from California State University, East Bay. Eyren is excited to be a part of Club Pilates and helping clients to meet their health and fitness goals.
